The business question
Duplicate URLs, unclear canonicals, broken links, blocked resources or slow templates can weaken an otherwise strong website. A technical audit should explain the impact, affected pages, proposed fix and acceptance criteria for each finding.
What we deliver
- Crawl and indexation review with affected URL samples
- Canonical, redirect, sitemap and robots recommendations
- Structured data and multilingual hreflang review
- Template performance and mobile experience priorities
- Developer-ready issue log and post-release checks
How the engagement works
We review the rendered website and available diagnostic data, group issues by template and severity, and agree ownership. Fixes are checked in staging where available, then validated after release. Search-engine recrawling and indexing are monitored separately from code deployment.
Measurement & accountability
Resolution of agreed technical issues, valid indexable URLs, crawl errors, template-level performance and the health of priority landing pages.
An audit does not itself change your website. Implementation access, developer responsibilities and verification scope are agreed before work begins.
From audit to implementation
The issue register includes a reproducible example, affected URLs, likely impact, an implementation owner and acceptance checks. Indexing, redirects, canonical selection, language versions and performance are prioritised against the actual site rather than a generic score.
Can this work with our existing CMS?
The audit can assess an existing system. The implementation plan depends on its templates, permissions and technical constraints.
